ROFL!! You have to remember that I live in a town in the foothills of North Carolina. If I actually lived in the town limits, then DSL would be available to me, but I live in the countryside. If you folks remember the Andy Griffith Show, then you know what kind of town I live in. Because Andy is from this county. Mayberry is based on Mount Airy, NC, about 15 miles north of my location. http://www.visitmayberry.com/
Closer to me, about 7 miles, is Stone Mountain. It is a great place to go rock climbing as you can see on this site. http://fuse.pha.jhu.edu/~danforth/climb/stonemtn.html
If you will notice, there isn't much civilization around these parts. But it is a beautiful place to live. I guess that I can live without broadband for a while.
