No question about it.
Without a doubt.
LINUX

Seriously, XP is, by far, the best option. In my opinion.

I would go with the Xp my brotha. It is a lot more stable than ME...and ME will become unsupported before XP does.

Not even close.......not at all. XP is by far the superior OS in every single catagory possible. Where you being serious when you asked the question? Let me look real quick.........................OK, you were being serious so my serious answer is XP even though CG is on 98 right now. It won't be for long. I'll redo it this weekend I think and after about 30 more maps, I'll never have to touch it again.

Yes was serious it was just that the price i found for them both is excactly the same so from that point of view theres no differance and never having used either dont know what there like so thought i would ask the good peeps on here who have used the different op's there opinions mind not that i intend or for that will probably be able to got either till 98 is no longer supported but nothing like finding out as much info as possable before hand
thanks in advance for any info given and thanks for what already has been

ME is the same as 98(se) just with a little more drives.

Best thing about xp is it can build most drivers for you.

xp is about £70 from a shop I know, well that was a yr or so ago, so I dont know how much it is now.

But yeah get xp, I know I don't wanna sound like I'm saying mice things about Micro$oft but this was one of their good o/s.

If you ever need help wiht it giz a buzz. do stuff like that in the dark lol. (pun pun)

With no hesitation, I'd say get Windows XP. Avoid Windows ME at all costs. I purchased an HP that came with Windows ME. My PC would freeze up when I played UT... forcing me to reboot often. I upgraded to Windows XP and the freeze ups went away.

Windows XP is the way to go. :D
