I got home and it was stuck in some sort of video loop. I rebooted and now all I get a a BIOS beep code. I will go through the routine of figuring out what happened. I will let you know what I find and when it will be back up. I might go with what Schwantz said in the first place and steer away from the 98 but I think this is a hardware deal....in fact, I'm sure of it. I heard the power cut out last night for a sec. None the less, I'll figure it out and fix it. Later!

UPS or USPS or Fedex? Which one damaged the hardware?

I sent a stereo across the country once, and it turned up in a mangled, shredded up box. I learned my lesson.

I'm back and ready for action, and there are no servers up, LMAO!

When I said hardware, I didn't actually suspect anything Schwantz sent. It turned out to be my beautiful Voodoo 3 3000 AGP. It died. Now that I have a GeForce in there it's up again but be sure sure I will rebuild and put CG on XP now. Damn! Schwantz told me to do that in the first place. Maybe this weekend. Until then, CG is up. Enjoy!

I am sure you know that the bios beep means hardware.

but,

I might suggest if you don't have the documentation for the MB, look it up on the internet.

I have had many problems like this before. My new mb... is so cool. Instead of beeping....it actually says ' your harddrive is misconfigured'....lol....over and over...lol. I had the slave/master settings wrong.

Am sure you know there are beep codes for specific hardware errors..(info for average user)

Look up the beep code....it will be like...morse code...short short long short....ya know.

anyway...thats my piece...good luck.
