Also, is it possible to run WinXP and Mac OSX on the same machine, either PC or Mac?

Umm Nope !! ...Can't do that ,I read an article concerning Duel OS's awhile back , that one won't work on a PC ...........

AAAAAAnd check....another little bonus. WE can use your shit, but you cant use ours....hmmmmmm...too bad for you? At least they try to make their machine work every way possible. Or is it they CAN make it happen.

Bill Bill Bill........when will the madness stop?
Honestly I have always wondered why Microfuck has never even TRIED to bridge the gaps it has created. Its not like they are stretched for cash or anything.

Has anyone seen the fight between Osco and Walgreens?....pretty similar.

Capitalism is such a weird thing. Its ability to do something without reason, is only surpassed by its sheer brute force.

To tell you the truth I'm embarassed my wife even has a PC.....

Tri there is a prog called virtual PC which allows you to run different versions of windows on the mac. The funny thing about this is that before they came out with a OSX version of this program windows would actually run in os9 (classic mode) while running in OSX. Yes thats right. 3 OS's running on top of each other all at the same time. And more stable then just windows running on a PC. Meanwhile your running windows programs in virtual PC as well as have programs open on OSX. It was really something to see. I'm sure Mah will chime in now about One button mice. or candy colored computers or some shit.

Actually OSX IS Unix so i guess in theory it was 4 OS's but who's counting.

So if I purchased a Mac, I could still run Windows? That sounds pretty good to me. Best of both worlds.

You sure could Jarg. If by chance your anywhere near an Apple store location stop in and have them show you Virtual PC. It really is quite interesting. Although it does give me the HeeBee JeeBees to see Windows on a Mac.

Sounds pretty good. Remember, My first PC was a Mac, and it was rock solid. I may just get that old Mac Performa up and running again, just to see if it will still go.

LOL, I may be able to upgrade it with the old parts that I have around the house.

Just for shits and giggles, I went to the Apple Store online and configured a G5 to the top of the line model. I got the BIG cinema display, ATI 9800 Pro, Logitech z-680 speakers and the like... The final price for this Mac was...

$11,765.95

OMG!!!

Uhh... Maybe one of those I-Macs is more my speed....

I have to admit, the G5 looks to be an AWESOME machine. 1ghz FSB, Dual 2ghz processors, 64 bit power... it is just SOOO expensive. $3000 for the base machine with no monitor or speakers???

In the interest of equal time, I went to Alienwares site and configured a top of the line model with all the works. The price was

$8,137.00

This was very close to the Apple, because it came with only 2 gigs of ram. Add between $3000 and $4000 for the other 6 gigs, and the price is very close. So I guess that Apple computers are not as overly priced as we may believe.

Both of these systems are built for brute power, more than most of us need (at the moment). I can't imagine what the world of computing will be like in 10 years.
