Kind of curious, is it a big deal to create a skin? I have been admiring Jarg's skin. I was kind of thinking of a hillbilly redneck skin to go along with the name.

 I'm Blushing... Thanks, but...
The skin I use was not created by me, it is a texture that is in the game already. I use UTPT to change it. I will put it on my webspace for you to download, if you like.

As for creating your own skin, it would be kinda difficult. You would have to create your own textures, or find suitable ones in UT. The program that DM mentioned is easy to use, BUT the downside to all of this is that the skin you create will not be usable on the servers unless the servers have the skin downloaded.

I thought it might be involved. And I wasn't thinking about the server side of it. What is utpt? If I adapted textures in UT to a skin would it show up online?
Thanks

Maybe, maybe not. The simple skin changer program I use simply takes textures from UT and uses those. But some of the skins the program has only work on certain maps. Perhaps it has something to do with which texture set the map uses.

A simple to use program that basically changes your user.ini file to change skin textures. You could do this yourself, but you have to know the name of the textures that you want to change to..
