Hello all. I have my server online.

IP: 68.169.162.130
Name: |3iGi's Insane Redeemer Arena

I was hoping to get some people to check it out for me and give me some feed back.
The IP is not static...I think it changes every week or so. I will work to get a static ip.

The first time it loads, I was told it downloads a bunch of files. I am pretty sure they are some skins I have on my bots. May remove them if people have problems.

Thanks.

bigi, it is good. It took me awhile to d/l files and I had a de mismatch. Hermskii told me what to do about that. But in the meantime, I guess you gave up on me. Anyway, it is Good.

Thanks. I don't know exactly what all those files are that download the first time. I was hoping herm could help me out with that.

BJ...yea, right before you left....I notice you looked like you had 56k.....and I thought...'man, that could take him a while to download that stuf...' felt bad. lol.

Hopefully, I can get it cleaned up. Thanks for the input all.

Bigi. The server plays really well. The speed reminds me of the tournaments we used to play. Fast redirects would help.
I'm 56k as well and it did not take that long to download the two files that I needed.

Thanks for checking it out Jarg. I made some modifications to my Unreal tournament.ini file....I think it was downloading a bunch of map packs that I had installed when I was trying to find one I liked. Maybe that fixed it.

I finished reloading my system this weekend and I now have my firewall reenabled. Let me know if anyone has a problem connecting.

Is your server up all the time Bigi? I haven't seen it in the UT server browser yet.

yes, looks like my pc crashed sometime today or last night. Does that sometimes. Back up now. The nude skin is installed. :-)

Did some inquiring about the static ip. I didn't have time to sit on the phone for 15 minutes and wait to talk to someone at the cable company, but I did a search on the internet. It sounds like they want 37 dollars a month (on top of the outragous prices I already pay) for a static ip....they call it the business package....(you couldn't here the sarcasm...but I felt it!)

It looks like I get a new ip everytime my computer gets shut down. It locked up last night. I will keep updating until I have an idea.

New IP: 68.69.255.120

I made a backup of my textures and maps folders in a RAR file if anyone wants a copy. Contains all standard maps, Herm's CG Map Packs, and some from Bo's server that I have converted. also contains some skins. Check contact list for my info. The compressed file is 343 MB...

I don't have webspace yet but should be getting some soon...finances tight right now so depends on prices.

Wife just stopped working and she is going back to school...so I have to support her and the little one all by my lonesome...budgets sucks.

btw, my boss told me yesterday he put me in for a promotion...wohooo....gave me props on the great job I was doing. I already do the work....now I get the cash. I am happy. Feels nice to know that all the shit I've been doing hasn't gone unoticed....lol
had a few beers....for give me for getting wordy....lol

Moin......

....You should much-calibrate the "time limit" to adjust, otherwise the "Bots" bores itself only.
