Yes there were, and are, numerous companies that use the original iMac look for their products. Does the George Forman grill ring a bell. :D

It seems that with that machine you have to plug in anything you want to use with it externally, too.

Why is the connector cable so fat? Is it the latest version of this "firewire" technology?

Yea it's a wide expansion port unfortunately they say it can download so quick that it fills up to fast and has to be emptied at least every other day :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
