I like gun control - everybody should have a steady hand.

Isn't that strange! I can legally put a folding stock on a rifle like the SKS. It's not illegal in Kanada. In the states, it's a bad. AK's are prohiibited in Kanada. Most assault rifles are. AR's are restricted and can only be used at a range that allows restricted firearms.

I know all this gun talk will have Mah frothing at the mouth.. Wait till he moves to Seattle and has to buy a shotgun to defend himself against attacks by the spotted owl.

One of the biggest laughs i had was when i found out you guys (u.s.a) couldn't put a silencer on a air rifle as it made it a dangerous weapon but it was ok for magnum hunting rifle and most other powerful firearms

Hey Dark:

Isn't it next to impossible to own and use firearms in the UK? Can a regular citizen own a revolver or pistol and shoot it at a gun club? I had always understood that it was even more restrictive in the UK than Canada.

Spotted owl?? MMMMMMM. You put some butter, flour, salt and pepper on those and cook them up just right, they are delicious!
It takes about three or four to make a good meal.....

Yep cant argue with ya there it is but for simple things like air rifles its only a pain in the a$$ and then only if there over 12 flb at the muzzle thats one of our gun laws i have to laugh at if its higher then 12 you need a licence the same one you would need for a shotgun, and safety gun cabinet that is bolted to the ground and double locked ohh and the guns are preferably secured inside also.
Not to sure but i think its illegal to own a hand gun now not even for shooting at a club if you can find one that is (a club)

Dark...actually silencers/supressors are totally illegal in the USA. Only Law Enforcement (because you know, killing silently is oh so important in a crack bust!!!!) can use it, or you have to have a special licence. The license has these massive FBI background checks, blah ,blah, blah ,.....and entitles you to shoot/manufacture fully automatic weapons and silencers/supressors...unless you are a pot head like me...bwaAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!!

weird....

And N6NU .....I wish my mags were from w. germ cuz these feed awful!!! HAHAHAHAHA

ok like ours the laws must have changed at least it makes more sense now having to own a licence for an air weapon the same that you would need for a shotgun is a little crazy to me think it should be a special one for air weapons but it looks like there out to ban them now too so maybe blowpipes will be next ooopps what am i thinking they went with crossbows yea there illegal here too as far as i know
