alright...I got it working now.

I also had some more questions.

I want to make my custom bots, I have 15...how do I get rid of the other bots...Mine are configured and rotate in, but I want to stop the others from rotating?

Other question, When I goto the Multiplayer menu and start a new multiplayer game, does my game then show up on the list for others to play? Or is their something special I need to do.

I am planning to build a new pc soon, and will probably make this one a dedicated server...any suggestions?

You get rid of the other bots by setting the amount of bots to 15 and then change the setting for the bots so they don't rotate. That will only allow the first 16 bots you have listed to ever play and of those, only the amount you allow to play will play. Make the best bots the last ones becauseif they are the first 5 and 5 players come into the game then those bots exit the game.

When you tell it to play a multiplayer game, be sure to put a check in the box for "advertise server". Do you have a firewall? it's gets a little complicated if you do.

I have made a how to build a perfect gamer installation of the UT and it goes further into how to design and build a UT server too. It's not done yet which is why it isn't posted yet. Sorry. My only suggestion is to determine quickly whether doing this is for you or not. If not, get out quick to avoid endless server down emails. LOL

Okay, I saw the advertise check box (assumed that was what it was for)

I still don't see the settings for the bots. I have searched everywhere. I have even searched the ini files and don't see a total bot setting anywhere. I must be retarded.

Is there a mod or something I need...or am I just that lost. I am still learning all of the game options and "ins and outs"...thinks I am missing something.

Could you tell me where to find it?

You click on multiplayer.Start New Game Multiplayer for people come on your Server.Box come up says Start Network Game.It have five tabs have on it like Match,Rules, Setting, Bots and Server.Click on the one says BOTS.I use have two people I know come on my old computer mine was stronger of theirs.That I only know that much.My friend it be boring to wait from them to come in to play.

ahh...I understand now. I set it and played one. If I sets min players at 8, only the first 7 bots play when I have random order off....I was trying to remove the remaining bots...like, delete them...this seems to work well. Thanks.
