Your VSK maps are hacked! you may want to take them off the server. VSK is a cheating Clan that hacks their maps to work with ElfBot ( aimbot ). I just tested the maps on your server with ElfBot and it indeed work. The thing is, ElfBot was only written to work with servers running VSK maps OR CSHP.

Thanks for showing me the light. Had no clue about that to tell ya the truth. I still have alot of tweaking to to with this thing yet and hopefully tonight I'll actually get to do it. I want to do some more map searching to see what else might be worth putting on there but from the looks of things 30 is gonna be my limit.

I am gonna cut the max connections down to 6 for the time being until I can figure why my server goes ping crazy with 7+ on. There will be extra bots in there to give a total of 8-10 total things to be shooting at.

What a bunch of garbage huh?? ...why do people think they gotta cheat to be somebody?? ....I dont get it !!!!.......wtf is wrong with these idiots :evil: ...thanks for bringing this to the forum and letting us now about VSK and their cheatin ways !!! ...so thats HOW !! they got to be so good Huh???.....explains alot...ohh...this is another reason that CLANS SUCK!!! cheatin little jackasses !!!

On other servers, it seems that people cheat not to win as much as annoy the hell out of the other players. If I am not mistaken, elfbot will work on every map, not just VSK maps. I may be wrong, cause I have never used a bot before, but I have read about them a lot on alt.games.unrealtournament
Thank goodness these things are pretty useless with redeemers. :D

I really suck at UT so I use Elfbot all of the time, 24/7/365. That's how I keep out of finishing with a negative score. As you can see, it doesn't work so well with Redeemer Arena's. I try to use as many cheats as possible to keep up with Jester and The_One. hehehe

I have already been doing some research on this subject and have been in contact with Hermskii a couple of times.

I think what some of the cheats are based on is the type of protection used, ie UtPure or CHSP. There are also cheats based on OGL/D3D. Herm has mentioned some of those and what they do. I haven't seen any cheats based on particular maps but that does'nt mean they don't exist. There are aimbots out there that would prove to be useful I'm afraid to say. I tried one out that had several different features. With normal weapons it aims for you, however with redeemers it does not. This particular bot had radar built in and a glow hack that made other players glow. No more hiding in dark corners with that. Most Aimbots do nothing malicious to a server other than make it unfair for the other players. Those of you that have a server and wish to see what is out there use the PM function and I'll send you the link I sent to Hermskii.

Don't worry folks that I'm going to the dark side. :twisted: I'm just trying to stay informed. Besides unless there are all noobs on, I usually don't finish higher than second. If I start winnging regularly you know whats happening. :wink:

I agree Ice. It pays to keep up on what hacks/cheats are out there and how they work. It was running into aimboters on-line that brought me to Redeemer Arena. Most cheats don't make a difference in RA :D Although radar can really swing the balance of power :-x
