Hi guys & gals. I have been out of the loop for a few days and wanted to pop in and say hi. I have been in the process of joining up with a group of Civil war re-enactors & buying some of the gear I am going to need to play the part. This is going to be an expensive hobby let me tell you. I think it will be worth it though. I love history as well as my country (insert debate over Nationalism & Ideology here). Now before somebody finds out the wrong way I would like to get this out in the open. I'm a Yankee. Sorry kid, Sorry Herm & any of my other buds who are from the south. I'm afraid I will be taking shots at your southern brethren very soon. :lol: Of course they'll be shooting at me & on occasion killing me as well. Does anyone do this as well or maybe know someone who does this. Just curious. Anyway I'll see you all soon. I'm actually off this week from work, so I might actually get in to play and have my ass handed to me by you guys. Frag you all soon.

Way to go Max. I never went for any of that anti-Yankee crap so don't worry about me. When I went to Desert Storm I didn't care where the American next to me came from. I knew I might have to save my life and I might have to save his. I'm sure either of us would have done it gladly. Have fun at the reinactment. I watched a movie on HBO last night called "Rosewood" I think. I showed a real ugly part of America's past down in Florida. It's a long movie but if you watch it from start to finish you'll be glad you did. Later Max!

In my family there are yankee & rebels and we get along just fine.I don't care. We have Civil war re-enactors around here.I never have gone to one.To be in one I think that be kinda cool.So Have FUNMax
