Unsportsmanlike Behavior in the Arena?

Hi folks, Some of you have witnessed a certain player abusing BlondeHottie in the arena. There is a general consensus, from what I understand, that this person is Vette. Normally, when some lunatic starts spouting crap, it is directed at the winner or at the game in general, and it is a great source of amusement. And both options -- kicking the guy or leaving him on to drop bombs on his head -- are deeply satisfying. However, in this case, the abuse seems to be a bit too targeted, and it is allegedly coming from a regular. Vette, if this is you, I ask you to please leave her alone. Torp, Jarg, XX, and Death have all witnessed this and stuck up for her, but we now know that as soon as they leave she gets attacked again. If this is not you playing under the names Malaka or The Matrix, and someone else is being unsporting, then let us know. Concerned Citizen Mahatma <SRA>/v/ahatma

I just got finished talking to Hottie just a short while ago and had planned on posting something along the same lines. I haven't witnessed this myself but she has mentioned it on numerous occasions and I'm pretty damn sure she wouldn't make it up. Well all I guess im the bad guy. Have I had any problems with anyone else? ahh no!!! Seems like me and MM just don't put up with her @^$#$ . Maybe ask yourselves if maybe BH is the common problem here . As soon as I joined a game last night the first thing I noticed was the ol VETTE boot vote, lo and behold my good friend BH was playing, You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that every time I join a game with BH I get the KICK vote for some unknown reason? Seems like I am unwanted on here so this should be my last post. Kick Votes: I always thought a kick vote was a way of showing your appreciation for a game well played. Kind of a joking, "you're too good" sort of compliment. The runner-up tries to kick the winner, the winner returns the compliment by attempting to kick the runner-up, and the rest kind of pitch in with a flurry of kick votes directed at no-one in particular. Kind of a mutual love-fest, if you will. Occasionally someone actually gets kicked, a source of hilarity for all, and actually the ultimate compliment for that player's game play. This seemed to happen to Mah mostly (to me never <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/frown.gif ALT=":("> ). Why anyone would be annoyed by this practice is beyond me, but I'm a bit of an old-school SRAer and maybe things are different in the CG world. Confused Sphincter

Hmmmmm.. seems to be another of these threads starting up.. I don't know about you guys, but I kick Mahatma everytime he wins..hell, I kick him even if he doesn't win. In fact, if he's not playing, I log out and log back in the game with his name and kick myself. Take that you teacher of English Literature.!!! Take it from me Vette. It wasn't BH who kicked you. Sorry Boss and community, I take responsibility for this entirely. Normally, player-to-player relations is not my kind of thing (though lately you would think otherwise), and people can sweat it out in the arena. But after being apprised of the situation, which involved not drifters and transients, but regulars, I thought it would be decent to try to stop it. After all, from what I understand, some fairly caustic, misogynistic terms of abuse were hurled at Hottie, and not just once, but regularly. ok who kicked me the one time i won it wasn't blondehottie but of course maybe it was one of the newbies that did the kikin and vette or malaka who ever it is did win a few times and they like to kick the winners but then once malaka attacked bh for it they thought it was good to keep it going thats what i think. At one of the votings i counted at least 4-5 players voted for so if it was just them 2 attacking each other like its been said, why did they all get voted for. As i was playing at the time i can say malaka called bh first and refused to let it drop even after bh said she would and didn't retaliate until she had to i will say that after watching what was being said during and after four matches i voted for malaka to be kicked and atleast 3 others did so who was in the wrong bh only got 1 kick each time just my outlook on the matter dark<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/alien.gif ALT="0]">

Ooh ooh kick me next! Or better yet I'll kick you if you like Boss. I got a great Idea. If there really isnt a problem here and it's just a misunderstanding then let's just cool it and play. If some one is really an ass then that person is sure to show there true colors in the end and will surely get there just rewards from the rest of the crew. Hey Vette at least you owned up. One thing I learned with my recent run-in was that "right" or "wrong" doesn't matter. This is a good group of people and, yes, we slip up, and maybe we can even forgive each other. So maybe the response to what I thought was a very balanced, reasonable and even polite post from Mah came across more harsly than was intended. I wasn't there last night but I suspect that people are going to be looking hard for the behavior and, if it stops, that all will be cool once again. If it doesn't stop it'll be a real shame. I played for a bit earlier tonight and vette started in on bh again. Are we going to let her keep getting barraged with filthy insults? I know that the best thing is to "shut up and frag," but that doesn't seem to be happening. I don't know when Vette went psycho but it's obvious that he isn't going to stop.
