I've got the new version of Magic Redeemer already running on SRA2. Give it a shot. Clem is doing a great job on this. The flash and splash is better. Nice blue colour.

UT2K3 Schwantz

I am having a tough time with the Evil Announcer. The games are over with before I can get it. Any link to this would be greatly appreciated. Plus, can anyone tell me what other big (5+ meg) files that I need to download?

TIA
{SRA} The Jargonaut

Hey Jarg. I believe the evilannouncer is a part of the 150mb bonus pack, lol. I'm sure you can d/l separately somewhere. Anyone know where?

There are maps on SRA2 that are big and not part of superfast downloads yet. So even people with broadband can't really get on the server.

Schwantz, can you post a list of the maps on there? Or fire up the redirect downloads? Thanks!

Mahatma

<SRA>/v/ahatma

Hey!! I haven't had any luck getting on SRA 2 since the Epic Bonus was added!! I haven't had any luck with the Bonus pack at all!!<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/mad.gif ALT=">:"> I had to uninstall the game twice trying to get it to work!!it's seriously buggy!! just go to Infogrames diss. Board and look around...It's loaded with folks who 've been having problems with it!!! do we really got to use it???? cause if not I don't think I wanna try getting it again too much of a headache for what you're gettin!! So I guess that'll mean no SRA 2003 for me if he keeps it on there!!!
later,Tri

Trigon,

I was able to install the Epic bonus without any problems and I can verify that the evil voice is part of the bonus pack but I think it can be downloaded separately. Remember that the Bonus Pack REQUIRES that Patch 2199 be installed first. If I had to reinstall at this point, I'd do it like this myself:

Uninstall UT2003 using your control panel's Add/Remove programs uninstall feature.

Search the hard drive for a folder called UT2003 and delete it.

Reboot!

Install game again, play 1/2 a round of instant action then shut the game down properly.

Reboot!

Apply patch 2199 and play 1/2 a round of instant action then shut the game down properly.

Reboot!

Apply DE Bonus Pack and play 1/2 a round of instant action then shut the game down properly.

Reboot!

Apply Epic Bonus Pack and play 1/2 a round of instant action then shut the game down properly.

Reboot!

Start the game again and apply personal preference settings. Make a rename ut2003.exe to ut2003old.exe and now copy in to it's same location the ut2003.exe NO-CD version of ut2003.exe and play 1/2 a round of instant action then shut the game down properly.

Reboot!

Your install should be perfect! Obviously there are a lot of reboots here and they aren't mandatory but I do it to ensure the hard drive saves my changes especially if the changes test and seem to be good to go. You can see why I take forever to get anything done. Good luck!

Hermskii

MickeyM,

Apparently, The Boss has had trouble with his ISP and something bad happened with his IP address. Just give it a little time (few days) and I'm sure it will work out. Hang in there!

Hermskii

I played it last night. I think there is something funny going on with whether mouse smoothing and auto aim and a couple other settings are tweaked. I could have steered that missile right along Torp's flat ass and around his waist a couple of times I bet. For me it actually steers too fast.

Hermskii

Ok.......First of all I have to say this. Clem has done a great job with the redeemer mod and making more to the liking of the masses. Good job and glad somebody out there took the bull by the horns and made it better than what it was.

With that out of the way I have to say I won't be playing the mod. Got on Schwantz's 2K3 server this weekend with the newest redeemer mod and still can't get into it. The spread fire has been the only real thing I seem to like about it......shoots fast and runs smooth. The hide and glide is what's pushing me away from it. I know others have beef with it but the tunnel vision plus the pause when the rocket hits an object just kills it for me.

My 2 cents....

|<idcapri
