I was pressing F11 to take one more screen shot when the game/screen went black. I had to press the reset button to get out of the game. Fortunately it's not my monitor. But when I restarted the game, I chose "run UT anyway" just as always. This time the screen was black again. I have a backup .ini file I made a long time ago. Should I just copy it into the system folder? Reinstall the game entirely, and copy back in again all my maps and textures, etc? Try running the trouble shooter and do ........... what? Any advice would be appreciated.<br><br>I'm off now to try once more to get the game to run, but I have little hope that it will run properly. This is sort of interesting: I started the game up in "safe mode". It seemed to start up ok, but when I maximized the window it was running in, the screen went black again. You're supposed to hit F9 to take screencaps, LMAO!!!!<br><br>I think F11 is brightness, and you just started over at the darkest level. Start UT back up and keep hitting F11 until it lightens up. Nameless how stupid can you be? As stupid as me I guess because I did the exact same thing but I did it before you did. I couldn't see anymore either so I don't know if the several others noticed but while we were trying to take Deck 16 pictures on SRA I did what you did! I tried to type that I was blind to everyone. I left the game and rebooted and everything you tried. Nothing worked. I was so anxious to get back in that I launched a different copy from an old server and came back in like that. I'll try the F11 some more and see if that works. This is actually funny now but don't worry, I'm sure nothing got corrupted.
