BUgger!<br><br>Meanwhile, the player limit on HOH went to 16.<br><br>Interesting and clever. <br><br>I was thinking -- wouldn't it be good to just turn HOH into CG1, now that all the maps are on superfast d/l? Then all the newbs would get the chance to play the cool new maps (many of which are really big), and the regs would have the chance to sniff the fresh meat? Very observant Mah! Let me guess, you got rejected yesterday when 8 people were on and today when only 5 were on. Yes, I've tried to make CG1 as miserable as possible for the regulars to get everyone to move over to SRA or HOH and leave the poor newbies alone. I was going to try the banning method again but that flopped last time.<br> As far as getting rid of CG1 and just running HOH, this is something I've been considering for a while now. I have to admit thought that it is very hard for me. I truly love CG1 and even in it's current state, I think it is one of the best servers around. I worked extremely hard to get it to be the way I liked it. It is my first server too. I think I'll be getting rid of CG2 next as far as the order of things go. I imagine I'll get rid of the UT2003 HOH when Schwantz gets home and gets his going. I'm still testing many of the mods DeathInc suggested to try to find the one that will be best for redeemer play. Radiation Poisoning MOD is still the one to beat. Regular UT HOH will be my new project when all is said and done. CG1 is my baby and I just don't ever see letting go.<br> So, just because I don't act right now, don't think your words have fallen on deaf ears. I see too many comments about people just losing connection with CG1 and HOH and I'm sure it's the lack of bandwidth I need to run all of this smoothly. I think I'll be able to get away with 2 servers, so, be patient. I think in less than a month I'll be right where I want to be. Heya Herm<br><br>Don't think we didn't appreciate and love the 16 player limit, LOL! It was the best.<br><br>OK, here's a great suggestion. Keep CG1. Agreed -- most of the new people know about it over HOH and SRA. The regulars all love fraggin there, because it is so popular and populated. Migrate some of the good maps from HOH over to CG1. Reinstitute the translocators. Kill HOH. <br><br>Full 100% dedicated bandwidth to CG1!!!! Oh Yeah!<br><br>YOu have done an amazing job luring the new folks in. But the truth of the matter is that there is no such thing as graduating to another place. No one wants to leave a good thing. And look at all of us regulars ... even though HOH has all the great maps and the translocators, we are all dying to get back into CG and play with a lot of people!<br><br>Sheer numbers is the key!<br><br>Thanks for all you have done. Observation: In the middle of the day when there are usually big crowds at CG, there were of course the full 5 on CG but no spill-off onto HOH. This may mean that the newbies who frequent CG simply do not know about HOH. <br><br>The best advertisement for a server is its numbers. When people are scrolling through the list of servers, they are looking for populated arenas. OK. All I can say so far is: SWEET! It looks like everything worked out pretty good on the first try. i did rename HOH to "House of Hermskii [ For Redeemer Arena Newbies ]". I hope that spells it out enough. Sorry for the lagg folks. I was playing UT2K3 with Blondie. I'll try to refrain from using my PC in the future to better ensure your online experience! LOL. Cool! NOW it all makes sense! My little brain was becoming so confused with the changing numbers, names, players, whatever. All I ended up doing was looking at all the servers and playing where I recognized the names.<br><br>Now that I have resolved that cause of confusion, I just have to get past that picture of BH squeezing her boobs.
