All the old timers know that I am guilty as charged. BUT, I remain unrepentant.
I had a lot of fun messing around like that.
The most fun I ever had with an alias (that I have only ever used that one time btw,) was when I played a female character with a rather suggestive name. I thought for sure that it would draw Skank into the game, but instead Mah showed up.
It was nice of him to keep spawning right near my hiding place, and I got to spank his ass frequently. So much so that he started to demand if anyone knew who the regular was that was warming his back side so often.
Eventually he got out of the loop of poop often enough to win the game as usual, but not without several beatings. Much fun was also had in the taunting we threw back and forth at each other the whole time.
If I ever see him back at Curious George's I will be joining the game with that alias once more.
