I banned a guy the other day for Blondie and haven't seen him return most likely because he can't but I banned another today who initials were MF if you can figure that one out. He wouldn't change his vulgar name either so I banned him too so all of our purely innocent ears and eyes wouldn't have to witness such foul decisions. Please let me know if you see him on the other servers because I think I have to ban them from each server rather than one ban effecting all. I'm not sure really. Let me know and be sure to post all complaints. I had another one who was cussing quite a bit earlier but I think he was just fighting back with Mr. Titan who is a bot on my Titania map. Yes, he's a bot with a ping who cusses and names you by name. LOL! I love him but am trying to tweak him so he doesn't cuss for our Jester aged players! Hey Herm I played on your server the other night. I have to admit it was pretty good. Didn't get any lag whatsoever. Whatever your doing keep it up. It was real pleasure beating up on the newbs that were in there that night. Yes I actually one all the matches. Hard to believe huh. It was nice not getting thumped by my peers for a change. I need to get some practice in before i start showin' up in SRA on a more regular basis again. I have had more fun watching people argue with the infamous Mr Titan than playing on the map. I suppose that the language is a little vulgar, but when someone is arguing back, I bust a gut. There was one time that I had to warn a person that you ban for vulgar language. He was spitting out a lot of the "F" word. It last forever unless I have to rebuild or change my mind about a certain process that after further review I or others determine to be wrong. Mr. titan totally cracks me up. I have determined that I don't know yet how to change what he says. I will have to learn how to edit the type .u files. This shouldn't be too hard. I assure you that the next set of crap he speaks will be even funnier! I've gotten tired of explaining that he is just a bot. At first it was fun and funny, now it's a pain. Some others told me they were going to gang up and kick him. That's the funniest of all because if you do, the game will crash. I determined this through testing when I was verifiying that he was actually a bot. It took me just over 20 mininutes before I realized he was a bot for sure. I'm not surprised that MF got banned in a way. He was playing alone at CG1 last week, so I jumped in the game. He was six ahead, and stayed six frags ahead at the end of the match. But then he put a kick vote on me. The camera was on me at the end of the match, so I just started laughing, shooting the ground and pelvic thrusting. This is a sketchy area for me , being an artist and all. Censorship definately should be enforced when slander, malice, or hatered of any kind is expressed TOWARDS someone, that I feel the KICK button need be used. The taunts that come with UT should be something we accept whether or not we like it or not. If you dont...turn your taunts off. BUT, when the dialog shifts to more personal attacks I have to agree that kicking MAY become necessary. One thing I think we forget in playing this game is that...well...we're really good. That can be very frustrating to a newb...it was to me. For example walking into the server and entering the 'loop of poop'! How freaking confusing and frustrating that would be. (It happened to me a few times the first few times and all I could do was laugh, but thats me!HAHAHAHAHA) <br>As far as banning someone for their name, well, obviously the last word goes to the zealots(of whatever kind) in the room voting at the time. Can't agree with all of it Metal but I do see your point about everything you said. I agree that "you were killed by an ******* is funny. I've even considered these other names for my self before. I try to take this stand for a couple of reasons. Namely, Jester and Hermskii Jr. Both of them know bad words and use them regularly when the parents aren't around I'm sure. Have you ever looked at a buddy list on AOL that belonged to a teenager? It's funny but some of them just are not right in a way. We wouldn't do it as adults in a professional envirnment. We wouldn't do it in front of our parents priest, most family. There are just some people out there who are angry and can't help buc the system. Buc it as far as you can I say but buc it tastefully. We all learned you don't have to cuss or smoke to be an adult. I bet every foul named player is a teenage boy with issues. True Metal, my intentions are grounded in mudd but I do turn off the taunts, gore etc for the kids but that isn't server controlled. It's everyone's local machine. Kids should know that this is a game. I feel bad for the parents of the kids who kill themselves because they heard to do it in the music. Too bad someone didn't tell them it's just music. Kids will find everything that we try to keep from them whether it's the truth, drugs, bad language, cookies etc. My little tiny contributing factor will be trying to keep just these few servers a little more tolerable for kids and adults who do care about this stuff. You can't kick someone when it's 1-on-1. <br>Although I suppose to be polite you could always vote to kick yourself in that situation, and the guy you're playing against wants to kick you. Yes I agree there are young ones playing heck i've had mine ask if they can play on here or just in the practice session but after we got some new skins and a certain map my kids don't play anymore i have asked dead sun and camper to play my littlest one he is only five just so he wouldn't flip out and cry but i let them know it was him and they both respected him i turned the sound off and he can't read that well yet so i let him have a go at it but as far as my 2older ones heck no they won't be playing for quite sometime i don't even like them in the same room as slayed and i when we are playing and so i don't get frowned upon it was early morning when 5 year old played and no one else was on he just wanted to try what mom&dad does but he won't be playing anymore he got bob the builder and scooby doo to playand hot wheels these games are a ok for a kid to play<br><br>hey jarg and pimp when were you guys gonna let us in on the secret affair you are having lol just joking<br><br>and like mah said i love all you guys too<br><br>this is fun and relaxing game when we are all together we know what we can say and when to say it and everyone knows it is all in the fun of the game<br><br> lates<br> blondehottie <p></p><i></i>
