I am glad that Cower got his ring and trophy. The Seahawks will make it back to the big game.

This was a long overdue honor for Cowher.
Good job Steelers!

Don't know about whooped BH. As much as I love the steelers this game could have gone the other way if not for a couple questionable calls and a couple missed oppurtunities by the Hawks. Ben was less then stellar and the offensive line did not give him a whole hell of a lot of protection for most of the game.

Ward had a heck of a game and made some timely plays. Troy palamalu was next to non existent but I think this is because the Hawks played away from him as much as they could. Joey Porter only had 3 tackles in the game. For all the trash he was talking you would have thought he'd have been a bit more involved.

Pittsburg also did not blitz very much. I was kind of dissapointed in that decision but its kind of hard to argue the point when it seemed they got burned on the plays when they did. Not too mention the fact that they have one for the thumb now.

Pittsburg still won so pay no heed to my rambling.

Well i guess i know 100% more about it now and didnt even think about the fact theres only 3 teams to win 5 times and that pitts is the ONLY team to take it from 6th place standing.

There were too many bad calls. This was a championship game, there's no excuse. For that matter, both sides were playing rather sloppily too.
After the refs stole that TD from the Seahawks, I found myself cheering the guy on when he intercepted that Steeler pass on the goal line and ran it back to the 45 yd line. :pirate:
Pittsburg showed why they eventually won the game though, when they too made an interception and took it all the way to a TD.
No doubt about it, overall Pittsburg outplayed Seattle. I did enjoy watching the game, but the bad calls mar the Steeler victory. :confused5:

Outplayed for sure. We could've been up 3 TDs before halftime if we could catch the ball.

On the other hand, what's the point of replay challenges if the refs can't see?!

GG steelers!
