Nameless is right. It now sounds like a bus is malfunctioning. If the mouse and the sound card are on the same bus, then we may have bigger issues than a bad sound card.

This will only work if you have a PS2 mouse and a USB mouse.
Take the current mouse out of the computer. Plug in the opposite kind and see if it will work. If so, then we will move you up to tier 2 support. I will be watching this thread.

Sci, I am having a difficult time understanding your post. I do not think it is a driver issue. I think it is a bus issue. This may be hardware related, specifically the motherboard.

I found my one missing My window XP CD but still missing Driver CD for Logitech mouse.

I think that Windows has a default mouse driver, so do not worry about that.

I OWE you Big time I got mouse back but I won't Play Ut on this mouse i be stuck against wall or can't move .I use my useless PS2 mouse. Mouse that came with computer is logitech Optical mouse UBS which need drivers.If Find that red disk I can reinstall drivers.

The problem you are having may be a Windows issue. Do this for me.
1. Right click on My Computer.
2. Select Properties.
3. Go to the Hardware Tab.
4. Choose Device Manager.
4. Now look through the list. Are there any yellow question marks? If so, then right click on the problem, and choose Reinstall Drivers.
Let me know if this works. If not, then we can go from there.
