I second that statement about DOU being good peeps. Listening to these folks on teamspeak leaves me cracking up so many times! they are a good bunch of folks from all over the world... Well, North America and Europe, for all I know.
Anyways, I never wanted to join a clan, as most clan members have a tendancy to be arrogant. These folks are not. Just good peeps.

I cannot log on to any of their servers today. It seems to hang up during the black loading screen. It says I'm connecting for what seems like forever, but I don't get in. -Although it does show me as being on the server when you go back to the server browser. Very strange.

The best I could do once was join the UZI server as a spectator, and I definitely had spectating turned "off".

Please send me the tool that uninstalls stuff from UT that you used, or tell me which files to delete.

I used add remove programs from the control panel. I selected Unrealtournament to remove. It then brings up a screen of every mod that is installed along with the main UT engine. I only put a check in the box for ArenaMatch and hit remove. It only took out those files. Painless for me but since you aren't from Texas and aren't even American, it may mess up your PC bad and / or possbly even kill you! LOL. Let us know. Note that this only works right if you haven't moved your UT files since you installed them. They have to still be in the same place as when you installed the game last. Later!

Well I'll be damned. What a cool function of Windoze XP. This O/S isn't anywhere near as bad as Billy G's detractors would have us believe!

All fixed! I can log on at Tommy's servers, and the instagib server I like is now behaving normally for me.

It isn't part of XP I don't think. This would be the same for Win 98 and Win 2000 too I think.

Really? I don't recall having that much flexibility in Windoze 98SE. My problem is that I still feel restricted by what 98 could do, and am occaisionally quite pleasantly surprised by how much better XP is. I'll go fire up the old beast right now, and see if I can remove individual components from UT on it.

Ok, I was wrong! You CAN remove individual components from UT in Win 98SE.
