I haven't tried any of this but it looks quit promising. Makes me consider purchasing a PSP.

PSP Video Express (Free) is a lite version of PSP Movie Creator. PSP Video Express converts video files (no DVD support) for optimized video playback on Sony PSP. Video editing features from PSP Movie Creator are included, such as cut off credit/cast at the end of the movie to make files smaller, etc. But is still better than other PSP video conversion tools and has the features other tools don't have. (e.g. determine output size before conversion, easier to use, support more video formats, support more video resolutions, video thumbnail capturing and video title modification, PSP video transfer mode, etc)

PSP Video Express can be freely used for educational purpose only. No technical support is provided to the free version of PSP video converter software.

Yeah didn't think of that (full of shit) factor. About half the serials, patchs, cracks may be tainted. I keep all my protection up when down loading and when I open them I also disconnect my internet connection so if it's a baddy it can't hit me like a bunch of friggen storm troopers. Crack Spider itself is more of a search engine for cracks, patches, serial numbers, etc. then there are the sites. Such as:
http://anycracks.com/
http://bestserials.com/
http://crackspider.net/
http://www.crackspider.de/

http://www.phazeddl.com/
http://www.cracksearchengine.net/
http://thecracks.us/

Any ways I'd first suggest downloading a sweet little program called "Crack Searcher" some software such as McAfee pop up that a "Trojan Found and Cleaned" when ever you use it. Hasn't been a problem for me as I always have Anti-Virus softwares running.
http://www.greenmegsnram.com/downloads.php

Some Times a patch or crack uses what McAfee, Norton and others refer to as a PUP. PUP stands for a potentially unwanted program (PUP). It is not a virus or trojan. Just keep track of what you crack or patch so if your Anti-Virus software keys up on it you can determine whether to delete or ignore.

Keep me posted :pirate:

Ah, glad I found this thread again. :bom:

I've been doing my homework on MP3 players, iPods, and the PSP. So far I like the PSP the best, versatility wise. It's main drawback seems to be the cost of the memory sticks. The biggest 2 gig units appear to cost more than the PSP itself. I expect that at first I'd mostly just use the unit for music. I take it that since a 512 MB memory stick is plenty for a movie, that I'd be happy with that size. A 1 gig stick would be nicer, but is $99.

Is there any way to adapt the cheaper compact flash cards to the PSP? What about microdrives?

I have a USB compact flash card reader. Could I hook it up to the USB port on the PSP and watch stored video that way?

Hmmm... I've never tried to write to a compact flash card in that card reader. I suppose it should work, once I've formatted the card correctly?
