I have noticed that it seems the same folks that love redeemers also love snipers.
What if there were a server that combined both of these?
Imagine:
You are hiding and guiding when you see a squatter somewhere on a ledge far away from you. A deemer is headed his way. You switch to a sniper rifle, zoom in and HEADSHOT!
Oh no, now a deemer is headed your way.
Sniper, zoom. You take it out and run like crazy!
I am wondering if this could work. It seems good on paper, but in reality....
If enough would like to try it, I may just have to build another machine from the scrap that I have and give it a whirl.
What do you all think?

And then are those clowns with aim-bots. We have seen that on Missile Madness. I don't like the idea. Maybe I am just too old fashioned :-)

I don't know on that I good with snipper rifle but They got stay for me to hit them. LOL LOL

I sorta liked the idea but the aimbot thing would be an issue the first day it opened. Good idea though!

I agree with N6 about aimbots, it needs to protect the server with UTDC and stuff like that so then nbSkinchanger doesn't work (for those who use it)... mmm I was right to feel that those two worlds have to stay spare worlds (to be at their own top !)...

I thought about that for a long time and think its a good idea.
aim bot will be a prob but if you ban there cd key & ip it can be done. it would take deemer to the next level but can you make it a ZARK rifle or Uzi

Hey jarg you need to play on dou's sniper server more and Moon what you talking about wont work how many times does tommy kill using the deemer true its not on everymap but it is on a few of them and is used but you would need to use the utdc and keep on top of cheatersif a server was set up to do this.

If you ban some one there are 3 or 4 chances on 10 that you see the guy you banned come back immediately with a new IP (new IP for each connection as a lan home network or 56Kers).
There are many players that haven't a dedicated IP, especially in those that love to come and f*ck a game with aimbots.

Fair enough. I am always open to suggestions though. I was just thinking that it would be a shot in the arm for us.
As for the sniper gun, I would want something rapid fire. I am really getting a kick out of Slayed's and Hottie's UT2K4 server. The carnage there is almost as much as a redeemer server. The constant feeling that "you are being hunted" gives me the willies! I love the rush of it all. They have done an EXCELLENT job with that server and are to be commended. I will try out the DOU sniper server, and see how I like it.

Again, if you have some off the wall idea, let's hear it. Redeemers are awesome, but I wanna try out something different. Much like Monster Hunt attracted several redeemer players, maybe another server would get some more.
Not trying to take away buisness from the deemers, but just give folks a break.

I tried MH, but it's been funny for a short time. Not because of the game but more because of the kind of guys you find in this mode. Often numerous immatures that run to the end as fast as they can without any team hunting !!
I tried Salyed's on UT2k4 and some others like Team SAS (quick sniper too) and I like it but it's hard for me to see other players. That UT2k4 is really beautiful but... TOO MUCH !!!
Finally, as I already said, I'm pretty often on DOU sniper server (and a couple of other different sniper gaming as TKK or (_@_) = Alienclan) which are a quick rifle too but Run and Gun (funny for a while)
Sniping on DOU is the best kind of "different game" I found to make a balance with deemer. I play 50/50% of my time on each mode.
The fun that provides deemer isn't the same at all in sniper game but there is another thrill which is nice too "to be hunted" !!!
This is something we don't think about in most of our deemer gameplay : to see without being seen ! (we can in deemer too but we are almost really hiding).
In sniper game, if you're hiding you don't get a chance to see someone to comb with your bullet !!! LOL
