I notice that there are 4 areas that contain the maps in the current mapvote. These are arranged in alphabetical order. Now I was wondering, could you arrange these to be, say, different?

My idea was to arrange maps by size. The first area would have the smaller maps (Morbias, Fractal, etc...). Next would be the medium maps (Deck16, etc..). Third is the large maps and fourth is for the SUPER large maps.

Whaddya think?

The only bad thing about renaming the files is that we wouls have to download them all again. Windows and UT would think that they are different maps.
Oh, since you are gonna have to shovel snow in front of the school, you may as well wear a bikini

Actually MEAT, you are the main reason that I came up with this suggestion. Plus, it will make maps easier tp find for us all, in the long run.

*EDIT*
To ammend my first suggestion. Instead of Large and SUPER Large, how about large Outdoor and Large Indoor maps?

lol

How about arranging them by time it takes to play? 18-20 minute maps = Crane, MyCity, etc. etc.

Dang herm, I can't believe I didn't know about your forum!

You can arrange them my size, time or even arrange them in how often we play them......the most popular maps could have the least or highest ranking. Or they could be ranked in popularity on that day. Or give them all the same ranking and let majority rule. But no matter how you rank them we are still going to vote and play our favorite maps. And we are still going to leave or just sit there when our least favorite maps come up. Plus time and size will vary depending on how many people are playing.
The bottom line is there are certain maps that never get played because we all have different reason not to play them. Should these maps be deleted from our choices or should it be made mandatory we play them all? Should this maps be given a higher rank or lower rank? And if we are not playing this maps shouldn't all the other maps be ready available for us to play?
