Picture I need to print I am use as avarter .
I have printer that print photos .I have three diferent toner.
I have color & black toner thrid is for photo.I have to remove balck toner for photo.Should I remove one for photos but black one in?????????????????????

What make of printer is it?

Some Epson printers have more than one kind of black ink. One is for printing on matte surface papers, and the other is for printing on glossy surfaced papers. If you change from glossy paper to matte paper, you are supposed to swap out the glossy black ink, and put in the matte black ink cartridge. The printer will sense the change in ink cartridge type, and clear the nozzle of the other kind of ink before it will signal that it is ready to print.

Is this similar to what your printer does? It sounds like you use one kind of ink for printing documents, and another for photographic prints. Just change the cartridge. The printer will make all the usual noises it makes when a replacement cartridge is put in. When it goes quiet and sits there normally, you should be ready to start printing.

Or does your printer hold all three kinds of cartridge at once? Then it sounds like you are saying that you must remove the black toner to make a photographic print. Is your printer an inkjet printer?

It has black ink & tri color for everyday printing. If I want to print pic I have to remove black ink
and put in photo inkjet. It can set up toall three kinds of cartridge at once but don't have thing to hold thrid ink cartridge .
I have only glossy paper

Here is a link to a page which describes the cartridges that fit your printer, and the suggested uses for each type.

It appears that the HP 99 cartridge has 3 tanks of ink in it. Two extra colours plus black. These two extra colours would be for maximizing the range of the shades of colour that your printer can achieve. However since you are making a black and white print; I would try using what you have in your printer now, and see what kind of results you get. You shouldn't need the extra range of colours that the HP 99 can provide.

Hi sci if your only going to print out the picture in black and white leave the photo cartridge out there's no need for it save the photo one for color pictures the ink cost's enough as it is without wasting it on black and white prints i don't have a photo cartridge and still get great color prints.
If you are only using glossy paper dont tell the printer your actually printing a picture by that i mean just set it for glossy paper not photo printing.
