Does anyone know of a good site to download all the necessary maps and skins for CG, and Kid Kapri's redeemer sites? I have recently moved and am using my wifes POS PC and just installed UT with the bonus disc it came with (dont ask me whats on it) it was ver. 4.00, i HAVE since added ver. 4.36, but my connection troubles are pretty bad. I cant seem to break 21.6kbps ( I want no crap about DSL or CABLE, I'm poor as always and just want to frag a little). I might have to switch providers, but then again PC's are like a foreign country so I have no idea how to talk to them, so I just end up shouting!!! If anyone could burn a disc with all this on it I could send a SASE to get it here. If not I'll just do what I have always done....wait on the download each map.

I'de like to see some familiar faces, but it looks like you all have moved on it the game. What is it at now UT2007?

Anyway...any help would be appreciated.....

Hey Metal,

Shoot me a PM with your name and address and I will see about burning you a disk with everything I've got installed right now. I was debating on setting up a map pack like Herm has on his site but I found out last week that when I tried to install some new maps on my webspace that I had finally found out the limit of the space I had available.

If you want to look around for the maps on your own most of the ones I have on the server came off of nalicity.

Just let me know.

Hey Herm, I keep going to your site to do the download shuffle, but it seems I can only get one file at a time then it (UT) just sits there doing nothing after that one file download. Am I missing something? Do I need to adjust my internet settings or something?

I'm lost...but I'll get there somehow...

Chances are that the map is finishing while you are away from the keyboard and before the 56k download is complete. At that point, it would give you a connection failed error and default back to the UT black screen. That is if you are trying to get the maps from in game. If you are trying to get the map pack from my webpage, then I'm at a loss as either you should get the entire zip or nothing at all. Let me know which way you are trying it. Welcome back!

Its probably doing just what you say. I havent tried to get the whole shebang from your site yet.

I've finally gotten enough maps to play a few times. I've seen Buddah!!! And Pebkac, who I think I've fought before.
But everyone must think I'm a dick ( Oh wait....I AAAAM a DICK!! LOL) because I let the download happen and if I walk by the puter and its playin, then I start playin and talkin.

I'll get there one day!!!LOL!!!
