Out of curiosity, what kind of hard drives are crashing out there and how long have you owned them? If Im not mistakened, DM was running a Seagate hard drive and only owned it for a short period of 7 months. Note .......dont by Seagate!

All of my bad ones were Maxtors. May have been because of my bad cap mobo though.

Hey hey hey i'mmmmm backkkkkkkkk lol hi all nice to be back was getting really bad shakes towards the end there just for info it was a stinking maxtor so hermskii dont blame the mobo mines working 100% the drive however died without warning. I thought it was seagate drive but found out otherwise when it was replaced unfortunatly with another maxtor :pale: :pale: :pale: :pale:

Actually mine wasn't a crash but was just as fun :-)

Most of my drives are Hitachi and I like them very much.

I am slowly replacing all of my drives with Hitachi drives and I love them! Fast and sooooo quiet. None of them have failed on me yet. 5yr warranty too.
