Well to answer jarg and hermskii the simple answer is i'm not if you read the announcment made by my isp although there increasing the speed they also cap the amount of data sent+received so setting up servers wouldnt work, well maybe for 1-2 weeks of the month then i would be left with no connection or bigger bills to pay for the extra data transfared and they aint said anything about the upload speed increasing and mines only at 200k :cwm21: disgust

Just do it. They won't even notice. Trust me, UT doesn't move much info at all to serve unless you add all sorts of custom stuff and actually have a very popular server. My cable folks have never said anything to me about bandwidth. Note I said popular server.

They will notice the big difference between the uk and other countries they hit you hard on products for money, they see a way to get more they take it so in this instance they limit you to a monthly amount and to make sure you dont go over without paying for the extra they will be adding a meter to record the amount used.

Sorry they cant well not untill they get the new protocols running 8 megs is suppose to be the limit, then they say its limit will be 18megs with cables limit being 30 megs right now bt will never be able to top them unless the cable co's stay down with them or bt and co upgrade to fibre.
