Hey here's a switch I actually started playing UT2K4 and have a legit concern. I tried to get onto Slayed's UT2K4 server today and got a 'Server refused to send onslaught BP' message. I'm sure that someone else probably posted about this at one time or another but I'm too damn lazy to search for it. Has anyone else had this issue?

I haven't had a problem with that particular file, but I could never play on DM-Albatross because I had the 'wrong' version of a tex file called "Hour Moria". Slayed had to send me two versions of the file he could find, and I had to try both before I could play that map.

Deleting the file and waiting for the server to send it to me was not working, the way you would expect it to in UT99. Is it always like this in 2k4? :?:

Pay no mind to this post. The problem has been rectified. A little matter of getting the latest patch did the trick. Thank you all for your concern.

I hear that UT2k3 and 4 both work perfectly on Macs. There was a gut who figured out a way to play UT on a newer Mac. I haven't tried it yet though. Here is a link to the instruction set. Believe it or not, it is too complex for me because I still don't know the basics to using a Mac.

---enough said

plugged it in; work once; dropped the keyboard (apparently the way to turn on the IMAC???? because now it wont even turn on)

that was a waste of 9.99; or i have entered a realm of confusion

Guess I'll have my husband check it out; he's a UNIX specialist... he might be able to fix it???

What are you talking about Herm. I've been running UT99 on a variety of macs including a G5.
