The lightsaber has been removed from storage, and ready to wear. I have tickets for 5 different showings, starting at midnight on Wednesday. We are watching the first two tonight and tomorrow. I already know everything that happens (I had the script as of last fall). It's gonna be a good one!

I can't stand this wait for the movie. I have never wanted to see a movie so bad except for maybe "The Empire Strikes Back" since I was so addicted to Star Wars as a kid. I think the first 3 were better than the last two but I'm hopeful this last installment will steal the show.

I hate that I already know the ending though. Can you imagine how crazy this would all be if he put them out in the right order? Still, I'm dying to see it and I'm actually worried something might kill me before I see it. Right now it is near the top of the things to do before I die is see this movie. I hope it's worth it. Later!

As far as the wait goes, it pays off to be known by the local theatrical agents. Helps to bypass any of the long lines. Also, I requested Wednesday and Thursday off. Once I get into the theatre, I'm digging in for the long haul.

By the way, ready for the upcoming Star Wars television series? (This is NOT a joke)

After this one, get ready for the new Batman flick. This one looks like it will be done the RIGHT WAY!

They were talking about that on the news today. They said that most of the young kids buy their tickets online now.
How about that? The damned internet has ruined another tradition....... standing in line for tickets!

Your prayers are answered. 'Superman Returns' in now being filmed in Australia. Directed by Bryan Singer (X-Men 1&2, The Ususal Suspects). Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor and Brandon Routh as Superman. Release date is summer of 2006.

I have faith in the new Batman film line. It will be nothing like the previous attempts. It will stay closer to the broody darkness of the comic books in the modern age, and stay away from all of the campiness.

And, just to make everyone happy, there are plans for an upcoming 'Superman vs Batman' flick.

FYI: Revenge of the Sith ROCKED! Tired as hell from the midnight show, but I'm up and going back again for a full day. Informed work that I had a bad case of "Vader-itis" (like most of the nation today). Go see it....

PS: I especially liked the visual homage to 'Frankenstein.' See if you can figure out what I mean.
