Wouldn't it be a lot easier using a cache cleaner to have it removed from your cache folder and into the proper folder? I have used the UTCacheCleaner3 since around May or June of 2003 and I have not had any problems with it.

Sure, I'll give it a try. Got a link for me? ;) :)

Ok Herm, I assume you have the correct version of the ATAA map now? Thankyou Scify! :D

UT Cache Cleaner is a fine program, just be careful not to extract all the files into your default UT folders, Nameless. If you extract it all, when you play on many different servers like you do, you will likely get a lot more version missmatches.

You can download it from here: http://www.sharkcageonline.com/getfile.asp?File=utcc3 or http://www.fileplanet.com/dl/dl.asp?/planethalflife/utcache3.zip

The only version mismatches that I've been getting lately is the IndianaJones map, everything else is just fine.

So, if you ever do get a version mismatch with a certain file in your UT folder, Nameless, just delete the old one and downlaod the version the server has, that's what I do.

Two files you will have problems with and shouldnt be moved are

ARYX.UMX
Bpak.u

add these to the never move list and you should be just about ok

I am finding i have to download quite a few maps from mhm hermskii is this down to ur past renaming scheme you tried?

Yes. I am going with the names the maps came with since I re-downlied all of the ones on MHM. It was a losing battle though valiant effort on my part. There are so many issues with MH maps that my method would have completely cleaned up all the maps made from now on but no one listened so I switched back to the same names everyone else has.
