CG is new and rebuilt as far as all of the software goes and the harddrive itself. It is stripped down pretty bad being that it only has Original and Bonus Pack maps on it for now. Also, it isn't running from batch or as a service so if it crashes, it crashes. Sorry. I will get around to that soon. I already have one report of better pings on it which might be because I relaxed the NetTickRate a bit. Let me know and expect a thread just like this one for MHM later today or tomorrow.

I did the very first run on CG today and I have a better ping than before. Don't know if it's because of the new server or only a matter of facts. I was 175 instead of 220 usually.

But... it's been laggy a while... not a too longer time but it's hard to avoid this.

It's been a pleasure to be up to 8 or 9 players !!! Many regs and 2 or 3 newbies (a young 14 son of one good friend of mine).
Boomer said "beware newbies, it's a very addictive game !"... How I agree with this ! :D :D

It was laggy because I'm working on MHM on the same box in the back ground. I am having all sorts of issues with it but most are worked out. Both servers with be down on and off the next couple of days as I add maps and stuff. All of the hard stuff is pretty much done.

Oh !! It's nice to learn that there was a reason for the lag !!!
It will be cool then ! :) :) :)

Not much lag and my ping was in the 60's. Thanks a bunch Herm!

Yes, vapourization is a much better way to go, isn't it?

Herm, now that CG is back up and very busy, perhaps it would be a good time to see how well DM-Venus and DM-Forsaken work out, hmmm?

And I still think Gravadyne 7 would be a telefraggers paradise.

I'll look into getting that done Nameless. I spoke to the Gravadyne 7 map maker a couple of days ago. iliked the map and asked him to build some Mh maps. He is considering it!

Nice work Lepo. It will take me several days to get them all together and installed as vacation is officially over. Thanks too.
