 Post subject: Server Network Card Failure

It's never happened before but it did just now. The nic card in the server started to bite the dust. Gameplay was impossible with the red flag of lagg over on the right the whole time. My box kept popping up the network cable disconnected sign. My gamer box was was workig perfect the whole time even on other servers. I first thought it was due to a nasty storm causing the lagg. I put in a new network card after I realized it may be the problem. Seems to run much better to me now than it has in the past. Maybe my imagination but my ping is back down to 0 instead of 30 all of the time. Later!

Herm,
I was just on CG, and the pings were all over the place. From 50-500. Not sure if this has to do with the new card, but I thought I would let you know. Everyone was complaining of bad ping.

I was just getting on and off nasty lag at MHM, but CG was ok. :?

I assume that your servers are all on one box. Therefore, if MHM was packed, it may have been the cause of the lag on CG. Dunno, just a guess.
