UTDC.dll not found so as i was d/l map to play on a server i get this popup download,install UTDC.dll ?

Hello *DeeZ*BaTTLe1. Welcome to the forum. The error you mentioned is a .dll error so i have to think the problem is with your install of the game or windows operating system. Since the error started with UT, I have to guess it is the game install now that I think about it. Run your UT install over the one you have now and patch it up to the 436 patch. This may cause your player setting to revert back to default but that is the way it goes sometimes. Also, please tell us which server you are talking about. We cater to several different servers running several different gametypes here.

well thnk u ,i have been getting sum more errors then ussual but its true thats the way it goes another reinstall.wasnt a CG or kid server or MH it was a other one ,but thnk u .

If I am not mistaken, jackies server now requires that file. Once you go into the game, it tells you need it in a popup box, then asks if you wish to install it now. It downloaded automatically from her server for me. Might work for you.

well i had reformatt puter it wouldnt let me read cd in drive error reading cd s,so i did easiest and that was formatte puter ,thanks every1 on the help here and other post i done good be apart of CG :D

ok...does neone know hwere i can get that file UTDC.dll....if so can u tell me....and where should i put it....what am i supposed to do with it

Herm are you running anti cheat ?? the utdc file is anti cheat go to the dou sniper server and you will be prompted to download and install thats the only place i know to get it from hope this helps you guys out

No anticheat here. This is a strange thing. I've never seen it before. Ypou folks are saying my server is telling people to download this? Is it refusing to send it? What is happening exactly please? I have done a search for any file that even starts with UTDC on my folder which holds my entire UT collection of stuff and I don't have anything like this file so, I'm at a loss. Keep me informed.

OK, I have done a search on both servers for any file that starts with the letters UTDC and searched every file again but this name I searched the text in eachfile on both servers and again came up empty. Re-reading this thread showed me that Deez had the issue on a server that none of us ran here. This new person who just posted with the same problem Deez had is having this issue on a different server too I'd bet money.

This UTDC.dll is a anticheat. It pops up a request to install itself at which point you can do it automatically or manually put the file into your UnrealTournament\system folder. That's all I know for now.
