yeah, you won't see me donating any money. More likely, you would see me joining a boycott of paramount, UPN and everyone associated with them....damn gangsters. If it wasn't for my wife, I would shut of the cable alltogether. All the crap on there (reality TV blows) and they cancel all the decent shows. I wish there was a delete button on my tv remote.

Not a dime from me. I love Star Trek but really haven't watched the new series. If it is true that Sci-Fi channel tried to pick it up and Paramount declined, then they are stupid as hell unless they are about to release a new Start Trek series. I think they messed up placing this series in front of the original as far as the timeline goes. Hopefully, they'll rap it up properly at least or is that it and they are done?

I have been, and always shall be... a huge Star Trek fan (borderline Trekie). The new show has a lot going for it, but I can't help but wonder... If this is the first time that humans have gone out into the galaxy, why aren't the more astounded by what they find? It seems to me that they are old hacks at exploring the galaxy, instead of children learning to ride a bike for the first time... That is where the show lost me...
KIRK FOREVER!!!

Okay... need to start taking my meds again....

You never know sky one ( satalite channel in uk ) might apply some muscle to the fight they seam to have some in the scifi shows and star trek is very big with them at one point i heard they tried to take startrek off and was told if they did peeps would stop paying subscription to them. So they repeat repeat repeat they also get all the big sci fi shows B.S.G being the biggest show at the moment they scooped ( getting it before you guys in the U.S). also the scifi channel uk may add there powers little as it is, might just be enough for the powers to think twice then maybe not.

I've always liked Trek but I'm kinda surprised nobody has mentioned Babylon 5. IMO that's in the top 5 Sci Fi series of all time.
Hmmm....

My top 5 series in no particular order:
-Original Trek
-Trek TNG
-Babylon 5
-Doctor Who (Tom Baker)
-Lexx

Yup all good scifi but would of thought Jon Pertwee would be your dr my all time is Tom Baker i grew up with him T.V wise. B5 could of been a little better if they hadnt rushed the end it kinda spoilt the whole show just to say ohh yea they all lived happily ever after with the few twist the show always added anyway could of pushed at least 2 more seasons from the story lines they already had.
Lexx i watched was a good twist on the scifi stories but again the last series blew big time or at least the last series they showed here where they came to earth.

Dark

P.S who is your least fav doc mine has to be Sylvester McCoy on the series only becouse of the story lines going to hell not the actor but if you count the films Paul McGann was very poor and dont think they should even count him in the order becouse they never counted Peter Cushing.

Tom Baker is my favorite Doctor but I also liked Jon Pertwee.
The only other Doctor I can remember is Collin(?) Baker. It was years and years ago since I've seen it so I can't remember any of the other Doctors. I do remember some of the sidekicks like Leela and K-9. It's really too bad they couldn't have had the special effects back then like they do today. There were quite a few good storylines in that show IMO.

On B-5 I agree the ending was a bit rushed. That would be my only complaint about the show.

I haven't seen all the episodes of Lexx and none of the ones where they've gone to Earth so I have to leave it at that.

Anybody see the last episode where Starbuck interrogates a Cylon?
I'm getting more than a little tired of bouncing back and forth about Cylon infiltration and Caprica.
