Thanks for the concern there Le!

Actually doing alot better now after almost a month's worth of recovery. Luckly both hands are working pretty well now even with the dislocated thumb on my right hand. For the most part it's working well but every once in awhile I turn it wrong and get a lovely pain that shoots thru my wrist which isn't too fun.

The left arm that had a hairline fracture is doing good. Still can't get my arm to completely straighten out but I've got good movement in it and try to keep from picking up anything heavy with it.

Now comes to the only thing left that has been the biggest pain in the butt which was the huge gash in my knee. Everything went well for a week after the accident with it then one morning I woke up with all my bandages soaked with all sorts of lovelys (trying not to get too graphic with the details). Went to the doctor to find out it was infected to hades and back and had to have a drain stuck in it to get all the fluid out. That was almost a two week ordeal in itself but I got the other stitches out and the part they had the drain in was left open (inch long 1/4 wide wound). That part is finally healing up now thank god and I'm at least able to walk around and not look so much like a crip.

Other than still being alittle sore here and there I'm pretty much good to go in a manner of speakin. Thanks for all the concern and hope to be back in the right frame of mind and possibly messing around with the server some. Been staying over at my mother's house thru all of this but have been trying to at least stop by the house every few days for a quick check of email and snail mail and to get a quick game or two of UT in.

Thanks and hope to see more of yall in the near future!

Well, it's a pleasure to read this !!!! Things seem to go really better and it's a real great news.
As I'm still a 55 years old biker, I felt very concerned by your bad luck.
So, we'll see you soon kick our asses !!!

Goooooood recover Kid

Great update Kid. I'm really glad to hear things are starting to function again. Be sure to mark the day of the wreck on your calendar a year from now. Remind us when it comes up and give us another report then. Easy way to see how much life can change in a year. Kepp on getting better. When are you getting back on a horse?

Hey Kid,

Heard in the games you got in an accident. Glad to hear you are all right again. Just joined the forum and got the story.

Hey Peb!

Glad to see you finally found our little hideout so to speak. Yeah it was right at the end of December when I had the wreck and I'm now just getting back to what I would call "normal". For the most part the only thing that is really bothering me is my right hand/wrist which is rather annoying considering I'm right handed and it being my mouse hand. I've got to the point where I can play online for about 30 minutes before the pain starts to kick in and after an hour + I have to stop and take a break.

Herm......don't think I'm getting back on the horse anytime soon. If I do it will be years from now and will probably look into the cruiser market instead of the speed machines I have always loved. Not sure what brand I would go with if I do decide to try it again. Who besides Harley makes a good crusier out there?

Ouch CFA! That makes my hand hurt just thinkin bout that. They thought I was gonna have to have my thumb pinned but I lucked out in the end. Hope your hand is doing good bud.

A somewhat acceptable Brand-X alternative. If you really must.

Speaking of non Harley cruisers, I've been watching these guys for some time. Now they are really getting going with a beautiful product.

If you ever win the lotto, check out these two beauties! Scroll down the page on the 50's kit to see true artistry in iron. I am so going to have me one of these, or both even, if I ever win! 8) 8)
