Revision 3B under Test on my server.

I changed the color to an orangish....am color blind on reds a bit.

Guide Missiles can now teleport.

Guide Missiles start at 25% of Max Speed and increase over 3 seconds to 100%

Please play it and let me know what you think. I haven't test it yet, no time today, but it compiled ok.

Sorry Bigi but something has gone terribly amiss.

When you launch a redeemer any guiding input in the first second or two results in a very violent almost impossible to control hard turn. A turn intended to be 90 degrees will be 180 or more, and the direction change is almost instantaneous. The view through the redeemer camera when flying is very jerky. It gets worse about the time the redeemer is supposed to increase speed to 100%. Instead you have only minor control allowing only tiny inputs in steering which dwindles to nothing, and then the rocket is completely out of control. You can still detonate it however.
I didn't get to see how flying through a teleporter worked out.

I like the yellow orange explosions. The rockets still fly normally when spreading. :)

Ops, I never saw this message. I made some mistakes in the numbers and made it to touchy, I had since fixxed that problem.

Dec 16th, I finished a version 4. Worked on the guiding more, comparing it to ut99, removed the hud completely, reduced the physical size of the weapon, created custom kill message for the weapon. Various other changes had been done since this summer but couldn't remember them all.

Some have asked me to post a new link for my server ip.

I updated the server link thread earlier today and took Bigi and Mickey one other server off because I couldn't connect to them with the links provided. I have but Bigi's server back on because he updated his ip info and it works again as all of the other listing do again. I updated the name on Kidcapri's server as well. If I'm missing someone or something, let me know. Thanks!

Hey thanks Bigi. I just tried out your latest version a few minutes ago. 1st off, I love the new view when guiding. It's perfect! I found that guiding rockets is still a bit twitchy, but it is also a lot better. It is now quite workable. :)
Sometimes you still see your own bot for a second when you launch a guided rocket, but not too often. Sometimes you are still facing a different direction than when you launched it; but that is not a big deal.

I see what you mean about the bots seeing a rocket as a person and shooting at it. They still do that, but it must be something right in the game. I was testing in Phobos 2, and automatic doors would open themselves for my rocket and let it through, so everything in the game must be like that. Again, it's not a big deal. ;)
