Her water broke this morning at 06:15. It is 07:15 now. We are about to go up to the hospital. No contractions or anything yet. I'll make a full tonight if time permits. Pray for us!

Hope the new little one (when he gets here) is doing ok and the mom is handling everything well. Was a surprise to hear your new little one is almost here.

Soon you will have a good taste of the realm of NO SLEEP. Hopefully the kiddo will sleep good after a few months and ya don't run into the problem I had which basically boiled down to 10 months on little to no sleep at all. The worst/best 10 months of my life tho and would not have traded them for the world.

Congrats. Remember to get the kid presents for the birthday and for Christmas. Speaking from experience, December birthdays can be a downer in the gift category.

BTW: Remember to be nice to the medical staff at the hospital. We're just doing our jobs (but you already know that). I would have done the delivery myself, but the drive would have killed me.

I hope everything went well. Or is going well, if the little guy is taking his time making his appearance. :) 8)

Short and sweet, here it is:

It is 3:45 am now on Wednesday. We went in at 0730 Tuesday. After 16 hours of labor they rolled her in and gave her a C-Section. Hermskii junior is 7 pounds 11 ounces and is 21 inches long. Our baby appears to be perfectly healthy! Wife is still at the hospital with a bad fever. Icouldn't stay because our private room wasn't available yet. I just got home an hour ago and am updating family and friends via email. All done now. More later. Thank you very much for the prayers, well wishes, advice and patience. Peace all!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Herm! :D :D Sounds like you've got a lot of work in front of you. Hopefully Mrs. Herm will recuperate quickly.
Enjoy the little one, they grow very fast, and watch him grow or you'll miss it. My little one is 2.5 months now and shes been great.
Its a good assumption that you wont be around as much on the servers. Just relax and enjoy, and try to get some sleep!
