Hey Mah boogie boarding looks a lot easier than it actually is. I thought I was doing pretty good until the Pacific ocean came up and bitch slapped me. I had no idea I could hold my breath that long. I was stationed at Pearl for a couple of years so I have a couple of "green and sweaty" Christmas's under my belt. Have fun checking ouy the wahines (women).

lol yeah the waves look very small from the beach. Then you get in the water and the small 2-ft waves knock you down onto your face. The surf is washing sand into your pants. You stand up dazed with your wet hair matted to your head looking like you took a dump in your swim trunks because of the 5 pounds of sand. Then you get the hang of it and start boogie boarding. And hour later you have a broken rib. Your brother gets heatstroke/sun poisoning. Friend gets a sunburn so bad his skin looks like a grape fruit-rollup. Went shopping at the Navy Exchange and bought buttloads of Macadamia chocolates for everyone we know. Mahatma

Dang, Mah, sounds more like a comedy movie than a vacation. LOL, reminds me of a Florida vacation that I took when I was in my early teens. I was riding in a van all night, with no sleep. Got to Florida and visited some relatives. They lived in a mobile home, and had a low ceiling. I had to yawn, and stuck my arms in the air (in a yawning kind of way) but forgot about the ceiling fan. The blades were metal, and hit me on the left wrist. I pulled my arm down and looked at my wrist, and it was bleeding. I thought that I was a goner. I then proceeded to pass out. Turns out that I was okay. A hospital visit, and some stitches made it better. Gotta love those vacations! The Jargonaut

The situation would be pretty dire if I broke my mouse-hand, Herm, since I also use that hand to ... uhhhh, well ... never mind. The rib is bad enough. Dry winter air exacerbates dandruff. I'll be back on by Jan 5th, so watch out! M
