Giant Boss 1 has been removed. Too bad. It seems like an ok map and works well for me in practice. The revenge file is still giving me trouble. I can't tell whats wrong with it...

I fixed the revenge file so the MH-New York Power something map works now. I also fixed the MH-Cliffs1 file so that map works too. I took off the GiantBoss1 map though I can't see why it crashes everybody.

As per your earlier request, here are some maps that would be good ones to remove from Monster Hunt Mayhem:

All AFO maps

Fuusen Balloon

The Long Corridor

Sushi Heaven

Frankly if it was up to me I would remove all of the guantlet maps too, but many people seem to like them. :roll:

I agree on the Fuusen Baloon, Long Corridor and Sushi Heaven map removals and I will do that. I feel AFO maps should stay because they get lots of play for maps that everyone hates. Guantlet are big play numbers too. Has anyone finished the Sushi Heaven map ever? I always get to the third spout jug or so and when I go down the tube to get shot to the next one, I fall through the bottom back into the water. Then some asian word appears on screen that I'm starting to thing says "sucker" or "psyche" or something like that. What is the trick to make it from the spout jugs to that next platform?

Roger that, Indianna crashed me out last night too. But two others were able to play, so I don't know what's up with it.

As for Sushi Heaven, you have to head for the middle jug during that 2nd last jump before the platform. It can just barely be done. I don't get it with those holes you can fall down through either. (And I'd really like to know wtf the symbols '3' and 'a' refer to, as well. :roll: )
The other night I finally made it to the last platform, only to be done in quickly by four very hard to kill skaarj. I've only seen two people successfully jump into the last bowl from that platform to end the game. :doubt:

See! If you folks weren't telling me about the problems, I never would have been able to resolve this issue. I took a closer look at the files used for Indiana Jones and Giant Boss. I crashed myself trying to connect and then looked at my logs to see what happened. It seemed to always crash right after "Blank" downloaded. I searched for the "Blank" file through the whole server and found it. It was the only file shared by those two maps and it was only used for those two maps. After several hours of testing, I determined that my copy of blank might be corrupt. I went out and found it again online but the one I found was twice as big as my copy. I copied it, compressed it, uploaded it and changed the original on the server. I rebooted and tried those two maps and now they work which is cool since the Indiana Jones map is so sweet. All is good now except some of you may get a "Blank File Mismatch". In this event, go to your UT folder and delete the "Cache" folder and all of the "XXXXXX.tmp" files. Then you may also need to go to your UT\Music folder and delete the "Blank.umx" file. Then try to connect to the server again. Later and thank you all for all of your help. I NEVER would have figured that out without your help!

OK, I have fixed the file named "Fourth". See how easy that was? It is a required file in the maps called MH-Canals and MH-The Great Escape1. They are working now and thank you for mentioning it.
