I still can not see CG or MHM in my server browser. I am currently reinstalling to see if that works. The ports are open, so I have no clue why it seems that just Herm's servers are not showing up.

Any thoughts?

All other servers show up, so I am baffled. Has CG been renamed?

Plus, I try to open location, and it just sits there doing nothing...
If I hit the hyperlink, it tries to open it with UT2K4...

the hyperlink will only start the primary install so i presume because 2k4 is the newest it will open that all the time

Strange. There is no reason why my servers wouldn't show up. I will post a big attempt at resolving this issue but my wife is making me go shopping with her right now. My very first guess is think that you are looking at the CG server from the favorites list. If this is true and you see a ping of 9999, then delete it from favorites and then re-add it from your DeathMatch tab. As far as MHM goes, if you don't have the Monster Hunt mod actually installed, then you won't even see the tab in order to view all of the Monster Hunt only servers. Please reply and tell me which list you are looking at when you are looking for the servers.

As for the hyperlink, there should be a Protocol Registry for each game, UT2004 and UNREAL should be registered as two distinct protocols.

Clicking the link should not open the wrong one.

What browser and OS are you using?

Have you updated to all of the current patches?

I would try to uninstall both UT2k4 and UT GOTY, then reinstall UTGOTY fresh, and update to current patches. Then see if it runs. If it does, try to install the UT2k4. Best I can do for you with out actually sitting down to look at it.

Seriously, I have no idea why it's not showing up for you. Have you tried just researching for it in the Deathmatch tabs?

Bigi is correct. Somehow, your file associations are all messed up. Unistall UT and UT2004. Once you have unistalled them AND rebooted, go to your c drive there, you will still see a UnrealTournament folder and a UT 2004 folder. Delete them both too. Now just reinstall UT. Make sure that you leave it where you install it. DON'T install it and then move it somewhere. That one thing will destroy all of your UT file associations. Patch your install up to the 436 patch. Now try to click on the link you were using before. If that doesn't get you in, then something on your side is seriously forked up. Main thing to remember is to NOT move the installation. Leave it exactly where you installed it to. Tell us what happens. Later!

Okay, The link works now, but I still can not see or connect. This is strange. Why is it that my computer sees all of the other servers out there except Herm's? It is as if that IP is invisible to me. Okay, lemme remove my firewall and see what happens...

Okay. No luck. I need someone to help me with an experiment. Please look in your Deathmatch tab and tell me how many servers that pull up. I am only getting 560 or so. Maybe this problem is not just with Herm's servers.

I showed 533, and saw CG on there.

Well, that shoots down that theory... Okay. What else can it be?Hmmm.

Do think links for the other servers work? What about Kids?

when u try to connect do you get 'connection refused' message not that it helps but i got this quite often while trying to join hermskii's but most other servers would connect ok but not all the only way i found to fix was re-install but as you have done this dont know what else you can do

Well... After much cussing and fussing, I figured it out.
Suddenly, I could not connect to the City of Heroes server (which I still love and would hope that some of you might try out one day cause it is REALLY fun and you would already have a cool mentor to teach you all that you need to know and.....). Then I could not connect to the City of Heroes website... THEN I could not connect to my Yahoo home page....

Hmmm.. I decided to dig into my routers interface a little.
I reset it to factory new... Voila. I can now see CG and all of the servers. I really have no clue why the router went nuts on me, but at least I know the fix for it.
