Awesome vid card Dark. Leading edge stuff all the way. :)

Can you enlighten me as to how fast your AMD 3500 is in Ghz?

Your first upgrade next year or the year after next might be another 512 mb of ram, yes? :)

Just to torture myself I went to Dell's website today and configured their gaming XPS computer to my liking. $5,536.00 Cdn. after taxes. :? Maybe I should really beat myself up and configure an Alienware computer the same way?

Build your own nameless. Price it out like this. Keep your keyboard and mouse, monitor, cd burner, cd drive, dvd drive floppy and all of that stuff. Price out replacing only the CPU, Motherboard, Ram, Video Card, and maybe the case. A top notch system done like this will only cost about $1,000 US. And it will run exactly as fast if not faster than Dell's same offering. Granted the Dell will be totally brand new but all the stuff you really need is what I mentioned. Please send me the change that I have saved you so I can build a few super PC for myself at no cost!

Building your own PC is not hard. It really all boils down to the motherboard. Get a good one and you get a good PC. Buy a untested new no name board, get burned!

Actually, I was hoping you'd be able to send me some of those bits and pieces that I'll need from your hoard.

I'll tell you what. You send the parts I need, and all the parts for yours. I'll assemble them both. And to keep it fair I'll practice on ......... er ............ start on .... yours first. Howzat?
