My final verdict on the demo: An interesting preview of the game, with nice graphics on a par with UT2k4. However it still smacks of being nothing more than just another first person shooter. I was hoping for ......... I don't know, something a bit more than that.

I was a bit surprised that the bot you control can't really jump very well. ID's game characters never really could jump all that well, but damn it, this time the guy's on Mars. The graivity is lower there, and it is 2004 after all; I would have thought they could have gotten it (the game engine) right after all this time, as far as jumping goes.

The story line is the same as ever, although the way it is so realistically presented, with nice audio and video touches all through out; it makes the story line seem fresh and new.

Did anyone ever actually find the medical cabinet code?

I saw those numbers on all the computer screens, 776, and 428 that would change to 429 sometimes.
776-429=347. Is that a coincidence??? What do they expect me to do in later levels? Do some calculus or something? :?
