Just for a little while. One reason is so I can say I messed with the server some. That might get Maximus posting again. Two: just to make sure that they all get played. Some are really good and many of you have never even played them once.

This will take place before end of week sometime. I'll put it back on next week eh. I love saying that (eh). Sounds like a question but it usually suffixes a declarative statement. How cool is that? Right! It is cool eh! Later.

Great idea Herm. It does get old when the same folks keep voteing for the same maps over and over again.

My connection started to crap out on failed around 9:00 last night. It was back up this morning. I can't seem to get the map rotation to work properly using all of the maps due to the 32 map limit that UT has. There is a program I found years ago called xmaps that will circumvent this problem and I will try to apply it this weekend. It worked last time but I have since lost the program and have forgotten how to use it so it will be touch and go for a few days I guess. I found an updated version last night just as my connection failed. I want to remove mapvote all of the way because it leaves the ability to vote for those with a mapvote hotkey. If I turn off mapvote entirely, then I get the 32 map restriction again. I'll remove MpaVote and install XMaps. This should resolve this issue. I've been getting many request lately for server instructions so I will really try to clena up and finally finish the documentation I have for those of you who have been asking for it. BIGI, I will require your assistance here soon too in that I want to finally make the change over to a command line launch of my server. I'm going to run it as a service as well and will soon be looking into the ram drive solution to run all of this from. I think you may be the best one to assist me in this if you are willing. Thanks!

Thanks Bigi. My connection crapped out again tonight but just came back again. I might have to switch to DSL as I'm sure it doesn't go out on you every single weekend like mine has been doing this year. My apartment had better service than this!

Do you know how to add services to win2k/xp

I have been looking into ways to get my batch file to run in the background.

I have my server in the game room, and use it to play music when I have friends over. Sometimes they close out the cmd window for the UCC.exe UT2k4. some may have noticed my server being up and down on the weekends...lol.

I know I can write a small program in VB to call the cmd file and run it in the back ground, but I was wondering if there was a different way.
