Ok, I've gotten as far as being ordered to join up with Bravo team.
As you may recall, this happens shortly after passing through the infirmary.

My question for today: Did anyone find out the code to open the storage locker back in the infirmary? I was hoping to find the pda of that Dr. Jebson or Jackson who has the code on file, but I did not, and now I'm leaving the area. :(

I found codes to 2 of the boxes total. The second is at the end of a long message in someone's PDA. Have you found the scientist yet? Scify, you don't need a better PC. Yours is better than mine and the demo ran great for me. If infirmery is the medical area, then I think the PDA I mentioned is in there. Can't remember. Sorry. If I play it again, I'll write the codes down.

Scify, my game slows down too. Once when I approached a closed door. There were 3 baddies beyond it, and activating and animating them probably is what slowed the program down for a second.

I've been pretty careful about searching everywhere. I don't think I've missed any pda's. Maybe I'll try some random combinations. :?

I'm pretty pleased with the length of the demo. Ordinarily I would have expected it to be over already. :D

531 comes to mind. Try it. I'll load a saved agme and listen to the messages again too.

The PDA belongs to Mark Caseon. He works in medical. He locked everything in the security box. The code is 347. I like the punch chicken game in the break room! Check yours. I might have the highscore! LOL

Thanks Herm, that got it open, but how did you get the code? I just had another look at that guy Mark Caseon's pda, and I don't see any codes in it anywhere. :?

I just finished the demo half an hour ago. Pretty cool game alright. I tried it in super high vid quality, there was a very slight graphic improvement, but the game got too sluggish. High quality is good enough. ;)

Did you notice the little face in the turkey punching game? Remind you of anything?

Read every email and listen to every voice message to every PDA.

Some are in the emails some are in the voice. Also read all the computers on the desk a couple codes were on them too.

I do not know if this will work with the demo, but it does in the retail game.
Hit Ctrl+Alt+Tilde (~)
This will bring down the console.
Type in

timedemo demo1

This will run a benchmark scene. At the end, you will get your FPS. You need to run it twice because for some reason, the first time is really jerky.
I got 63 fps on my main machine and 24 on my media machine.

I'm doing the demo over again at the toughest level. I got one surprise this time. After that guard tells you to haul ass through the airlock, I went to talk to him some more, and instead my bot punched him out and I got his pda. There was only an email in it asking him to help the newly arrived marine from Sgt. Kelly.

Which quality level are you playing on Scify? If you're on the highest try the next one down. Maybe set the sound down a level too. That might help.
