Well Scify......to answer your question the cable modem is included in the monthly fee. I did some digging on the Roadrunner website and found this information.<br><br>My roommate is a puttz and a liar..........I thought he had taken that modem back at the beginning of this week but found out that we have had the thing all week long. I am bout ready to rip that poor boy's head clean from his shoulders right about now. Well after a week of no internet I am pleased to say that I should be back up and running Friday night. Never realized just how much I actually use the internet until I didn't have it anymore. UT just isn't as fun as a single player game. LOL never really played any of the single player stuff on it and now I know why I don't. Regular deathmatch is so very slow in pace in my opinion. Actually pulled out some older games that I haven't played in awhile and installed them. <br><br>Just to let the masses know........The Roadrunner deal worked!!!! The roommate was able to get the 29 dollar deal for the next 3 months on the cable modem.
