I've noticed each day around 6:00 PM my cable connection goes down for about 30 minutes. I feel like they are doing the rolling blackout on me or something. I'll call and find out what's going on but I wanted everyone to know that even though ilose the connection, the server is still on. It's not crashing. It's Time Warner's fault.

I wonder if the problem is at your end then? I've been getting small amounts of lag on and off over the last few days. I thought maybe my damned ISP was getting oversubscribed again.
Tonight the red light of doom actually came on and off a number of times around 6:30 pm your time. :(

That's exactly what I'm saying except at 6:30, I was getting a update from Microsoft on CG. It's beeb going out and acting wierd all this week. I haven't touched the server. It doesn't even have a monitor, keyboard, mouse or speakers on it right now. I had to use all of it to set up my nephew's PC and another one in the living room. CG hasn't been rebooted or anything in about 2 weeks! It's running perfect like it did about a year ago. I don't know what the deal is being I haven't done anything to it that would make it suddenly run better. So, in short (LOL), it's not at your end, it's at mine but it's not my fault! It's Time Warner's fault!

Have ya called up ole TWC and given them a piece of you mind yet? LMAO Went thru a bunch of crap here when I first received my modem a good while back. Took me a month and 1/2 of bitching to finally find out it was something on their end of the deal screwing things up. I would definatly give them a buzz. Got on CG tonight (Saturday) and was getting alot of frame stutter and saw the little red flag of death a few times.......all this with a 30-70 ping *shrug*. Not sure if anybody else has had that sort of thing happening but I figured I fill ya in.

And BTW........anybody know who the people are with the [BTU] in front of their names are? Saw a group of 4 get on tonight. They all seemed kewl for the time I was there and were enjoying themselves. Nothing like alittle fresh meat to keep things interesting :)

Another Maxtor struck again. Last time. I bought a Hitachi this time round. I'm almost rebuilt already but it feels like it's been forever. Then, on top of that, my internet service cut out all the way. I trouble shot it and found part of my network had a bad cable. Outside part that is. I ran a bypass around it to get on right now. Goodbye Maxtor!

Maxtors suck. Please buy an IPOD and duct-tape it to the inside of your computer chassis.
