CBP2 Volume 2 Delayed
by RaptoR at 4:26 PM EDT (Unreal Tournament 2004) [ 4 Comments ] #5844

A post on the Atari forums reveals that volume 2 of the highly-anticipated Community Bonus Pack Volume 2 for UT2004 has been delayed until Saturday May 29th. The pack was originally due to appear tomorrow, May 27th.
This is just a quick note to say that Volume 2 will now be released on Saturday, due to last minute problems that need fixing. Again, it's only a few days away, so please understand that we are just making a better pack.

It's impossible to get the UMod version today, Saturday. They're all just too busy.

Try later or go to Beyond Unreal Fileworks for the zipped version. I find that eDome in Finland works best and fastest. It's a little on the slow side right now, but I've already got 6%, and I can wait. :)

It took over an hour after all to d/l the zip file from eDome. Later I went and got the Umod just to see what it would be like in UT2k4. It would not run. Maybe because of WinRAR's method of unzipping it? So I had to use the zip file I got from eDome. But I have the maps and skins now, and they are all good quality stuff!! :D

191mb man that is big. I got the zip on my first try (late last night). I haven't put it in yet but I'm sure it will be cool. Thanks for the notice about it being ready to download!

I like several of the new skins and I just can't get over all of the eye candy they have built into these maps. This is an awesome accomplishment.

Could anybody get the Umod to run? Could it have been WinRAR that messed up the file?

I got the zip form of it and just put everything where it goes myself. I usually like umods but I don't always trust them. After a 6 disk install, I'll be using zip installs for everything as I've already had to reinstall the game once from putting FragHouse Invasion on it wrong. Good luck and no, I'm sure winrar had nothing to do with it at all. I don't want to insult you but do you know how to use a umod?
