I miss my super computer so much. Strange how motivated I am to do stuff while it's gone and while it's here I put it off till later. I like this new little ThunderBird 1000 on my ASUS A7V133 I'm on right now but it's just not as sweet as my ABIT KT7A board. I think I'm going to have to trade with mom and get my ABIT back. Even it can run my XP2100 that is normally in my EPoX 8K3A+ board. I think I get the EPoX board back in another week or two.

I don't care what proof they have, I don't think that DDR is that much better than SDRAM. I can hardly tell the difference between my 2100 and my 1000, even though they use the different types of ram. I may hang onto the EPoX for years at this point. I haven't seen anything that blows it out of the water yet. I do wish I had one of those ATI 9700 Pro video cards though. Thay are sweet! Too bad about the messed up drivers they use right now.

I wish ram prices would just cut in half so I could max out each of my boards. Lately, I noticed the best way to improve a PC is just by adding a crapload of ram. I can't believe I never noticed it before. CG is running on 128 this second and it is doing fine with that. It hasn't crashed one time since I moved it out of the bedroom with the bad circuit. Bla Bla Bla...I'm done. Thanks for listening.

I do notice a difference between my P-4 2.4 versus P-4 3.0, but the difference is not too profound. The 3.0 ghz uses 1 gig of pc-400 ddr while the 2.4 uses 1 gig of ddr pc 2800 running at 2100 level. Hence the next computer I get will be AMD. I wished you could build Apple computers from scratch...
