SRA Status

I'm spending most of today (Tuesday) uploading the compressed files to NU's server. So by tonight.. SRA will be up and running with compressed file redirection. All your old fav maps (lots of decks). I will add some maps as time progresses.

The ip address is 216.232.118.112:7777

Please let me know if there are any problems.. or files that don't do a fast download.

Remember, I should be finished all the uploading around 1800 hrs pacific.

I've finished uploading the compressed files to NU's server.. Thanx to Andreas for providing the server space.

SRA is now working with fast downloads. Please report any problems including files that don't fast download. Also, if there is some specific map you want, let me know and I'll try to add it.

Was on for an hour or so this evening and all in all the server was doing well.. During Deck2K1 the server just crashed.. Don't know why. Restarted on its own a few minutes later.. I would appreciate any info on server crashes. How many players, what map was up etc.

You know I seem to remember that Deck 2K1 cause that problem before with the linux server.. More testing is required..

Yes it was fun! I need to get some input on what maps the regulars would like to see besides the sea of Deck Maps...

I thought it was all going great. I don't know what happened. The second I saw the flag of death, I hit the F1 to watch pings and they stayed low but BAM, it still crashed. I waited for it to come back up but after a couple of minutes I got hungry and left. I saw Nameless on it later. Eveything ran great and the downloads were lightning fast. I pinged at 130 the whole time without at little as a hick-up. More if I think of it. Later and great to have SRA back! I will update the top sticky with everyone's IP's etc later tonight.

I don't think ping was the issue... something made the server application crash in linux. It recovered which is cool.. but it took a few minutes..

If the gang is around tonight.. I'd like to try and do another stress test with Deck2K1 to see if that map is to blame. All the other maps seemed to work well that we tried prior to the crash.

Was nice to be back home again. My hours of play leave me somewhat lonely with only bots to slap, but as I said it was nice to be home.
