I love it. I mention how these poor guys are over seas away from there families and I get almost dead silence with the exception of a few. To top it off this guy is complaining about having to work. I'm guessing being homesick while being fired at a 1000 miles away doesn't really compare to having to work on a holiday. I feel for ya bro. Poor guy. I agree working on a holiday does suck but if I had a choice I think I'd pick working over being shot at. :roll: :evil:

What an amusing sentiment! :lol: My wife and I are so supportive of â€œour troopsâ€ that we are both contributors to the VFW < http://www.vfw.org > and the Eastern Paralyzed Veterans Association < http://www.unitedspinal.org >. Rather than just offer up hollow platitudes for the men and women who have sacrificed to make this nation great, we put our money where our mouths are. :P

Then you of all people should appreciate how petty it is to complain about working on a holiday when you could be having someone firing rocket propelled grenades at you.

Oh yeah and my old man is a vet so anything I say concerning vets isn't hollow.

Had to work on Thanksgiving myself. Actually volunteered (also working Christmas eve, Christmas day, the day after Christmas, and New Years). The hospital never closes. And besides, the Thanksgiving holiday isn't much for vegetarians. :roll:
